A short footprint grit chamber combined with a screening chamber for small and medium sized sewage treatment plants
• The Constant current grit chamber completely solves the issue of poor grit discharge. To prevent sedimentation of mud and organic solids which occurs when the flow rate is below the designed level, a constant current of 0.3m/sec is maintained by adjusting the weir gate automatically according to the influent flow rate.
• Unlike conventional systems in which the screening chamber protrudes far in front of the grit chamber and an abnormally long building or suite is required, this screen chamber fits above the grit chamber.
• An additional grit classifier is not required. Transportation, storage and landfill of the grit is easy, clean and economical.
